About Us

Jo makes a range of fleece bedding and cage accessories for guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, hedgehogs and other small pets.

Having kept a number of various different animals since childhood, Jo has always had a soft spot for rodents. Rats, Hamsters, Gerbils, Guinea Pigs and Degus. Jo decided to start Just Add Piggies due to wanting to work from home creating handmade bedding for all the animals we love and adore.

This way she can run the business and care for her autistic twins.

These handmade fleece beds, dens and cosies are ideal for guinea pig bedding, hedgehogs, small rabbits and many other furry friends.

She even had a logo designed based on one of our first piggies who sadly passed away. This way we can remember Trump (Trumps Hair was his full name) had a quiff and her son named him accordingly....

All items listed are lovingly handmade to our high quality standard. We only use wicking fleece on the interior where piggies and other small animals may leave their mark so this absorbs their pee and doesnt rest on top.

Some bedding has removeable pads to preserve the life of your dens but all items are machine washable at 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry though as this may affect the item. Some colours may vary from what is seen onscreen to the actual product due to screen resolution, colour temperature settings from screen to screen and how the photographs were taken. It's kinda like the blue/white/gold dress image that was on facebook that time....

Trumps Hair

We adopted Trump from another family who had him and his brother Fazbear in an outside hutch whos family decided it was time to let another family care for them.

Trump was a character who enjoyed fusses but also knew what he wanted.

He is now featured and remembered in our logo due to his loving nature.
